In addition to its editorial purpose, ThePlatform has created a project called Italian Threads, Conversations on Fashion, which aims to promote Italian fashion by bringing Italian entrepreneurs and managers of fashion brands to Italian embassies around the world. The first cycle of events was held with great success at the Italian Embassy in London. The four entrepreneurs who participated were Luca Sburlati (CEO, Pattern Spa), Renzo Rosso (CEO, OTB Group), Alfonso Dolce (CEO, Dolce & Gabbana), and Sergio Tamborini (CEO, Ratti Spa and President of Sistema Moda Italia).
Each event was attended by 150-200 people and was the most successful initiative organized by the embassy. The nature of the audience varies depending on the guest: some events attract the world of finance, others entrepreneurs, and others the press or the fashion community.

The guest also has the opportunity to directly select the type of audience through personalized invitations.
Thanks to its success, the Italian Embassy in London has decided to continue the program in 2025 with six events. Other embassies have expressed interest in the project, and ThePlatform is planning to replicate the event at the Italian Embassy in India by the end of 2025.
For the project, ThePlatform is in talks for a media partnership with ANSA, which will follow the initiative worldwide.
